We had this public launch of Nuvali, a masterplanned mixed-use development by Ayala Land Inc. in Sta. Rosa-Canlubang Laguna, just recently. And as a real estate professional, I have to be active and participate this special event. The problem is, I don't have any guest. It really troubled me for a while, so I thought about it and said to myself "maybe I should just enjoy the event and just invite my girlfriend to go with me." And so I invited her and went straight to Nuvali. What an event it was! We were really amazed by the really, really quick development of the project. I remember the time when I started attending seminars about Nuvali in 2007, and it really seems like pipe dreams and marketing campaigns to me. But now look! People could already see the man-made lake, retail stores beside the lake, discovery center and a BPO Campus.
So we went beside the lake, took a couple of photos, walked at the event and saw people attending different kinds of recreational activities. You could see the smile on each and everyone's faces as they walk with their family, children, and loved ones. You could easily tell, they are previous buyers and investors at Nuvali. And they are enjoying the event Ayala Land has made for them.
We then went to Avida Settings Nuvali, which is currently the project I am offering together with Treveia, and visited the different house models: Thea, Maia, and Celena. My girlfriend started looking at the interior of the model houses as if she was buying for her own, or maybe, ask me to buy for her. Now that really, really scared me, as I am still trying to invest my time, knowledge and effort on this profession.

Then I start to wonder, does buying a home comes first as a priority than simply tying the knot and probably renting an apartment, or worse, living with your parents? Nothing wrong with that last option, but hey, my parents might start scratching their heads and say "when do you think we could retire, honey?"
As a man, you have this sense of responsibility that you want to be able to provide for your family and loved ones everything they need in life, including shelter. I believe homes are not just for shelter, but for countless memories you could establish and create within that home. You want to look for the best home for your family, and create a very good environment with your wife and kids.
At that moment when I saw her looking at the houses, I did swear to myself that someday, I'm going to buy a house like this for her. Maybe not now, but I'll work hard for me to be able to someday. Before or after marriage, who knows? But I'll definitely make it.
Now some are luckier than me, who has the capacity right now to buy and purchase the dream home they desire. Maybe you should bring your love ones to this development, look into their eyes and think, "I want this for them."
